Princess Emeraude The Pillar of Cefiro who had been keeping its peace and tranquility with her prayer. She summoned the Magic Knights to save Cefiro because she could no longer pray for its well being. Although she always smiled, her eyes couldn't hide her loneliness. She was forced to stay in the form of a little girl, but later transformed into a beautiful fully-grown woman. She used the spells Cynos and Debonair and rode a winged female centaur robot in the final battle.
	Guru Clef He also had a form of a child, but he was actually a 745 years old magic guru respected by all as the most powerful magician in Cefiro. He was one of the few knowing the truth behind the legend of Magic Knights. He bequeathed and taught magic to persons having the talent to use it. His spells including Sole Lightning, Round Wall, and a summon spell. He loved peace, but he himself lost his temper easily.
	Presea She was the beautiful, most famous weapon smith in Cefiro. She made unique weapons, not with equipments but with power of her will, that suit the owners' own abilities so that no two weapons she created were alike. She was the only one capable to forge Escudo into powerful weapons. A humorous person, but sometimes lost herself in her own fantasies.
	Ferio A cool, mysterious young man skilled in using his giant curved sword. He told Magic Knights the legend about them known only to people having close relationship with the Pillar. He seemed to like Fuu and vice versa. His identity was revealed in Magic Knight Rayearth 2.
	Mokona Mokona was a bunny-like creature accompanying the Magic Knights throughout their stay in Cefiro. It showed them which direction to go and provided them food and vehicles. At most time it acted just like an annoying cute little pet, but actually it has hidden power that was truly remarkable.
	Lantis Zagato's younger brother, the only magic swordsman in Cefiro. He had been serving as the commander of Emeraude's bodyguards before he left Cefiro and being replaced by Rafaga. Right after Emeraude died, he returned to his homeland from Autozam. He was quiet, emotionless, mysterious, and very obstinate. Hurt by his brother's and the Pillar's death, he intended to do anything to end the tragic Legend of Magic Knights. His spells were Round Wall, Sole Lightning, and Cronos.
	Primera A fairy Lantis had saved when she was shelterless during the worst times of Cefiro's destruction. Since then, she had been accompanying Lantis. She adored Lantis very much and never let anybody get close to him. Her spell Futura, a healing spell, was used exclusively for him.
